Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) at HOPES

September is National Recovery Month

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) at HOPES

HOPES’ MAT program is, in my opinion, GREAT because it is geared towards all aspects of recovery. Mental, physical, emotional and the addiction. It works because they work on all of these things together. What makes them successful is their level of compassion, passion, empathy and that they truly care about the cause they are fighting for.” – Sharlee S.

Northern Nevada HOPES’ MAT program is a behavioral health focused program that uses medications to support recovery for individuals struggling with alcohol and/or opioid dependence.

At HOPES MAT team and program practice harm reduction which involves meeting patients where they are and developing a holistic treatment plan based on a patient’s specific goals. We provide both individual and group psychotherapy to individuals in our MAT program.

The work we do at HOPES to support those struggling with addiction is incredibly important to our community. Whether we realize it or not, every one of us is touched by addiction, either directly, or indirectly. Our ability to provide patient-centered and evidence-based treatment for addiction gives people the tools and the hope to improve their lives. Because we are all connected, those changes have a ripple effect on their friends, families, co-workers, etc; and ultimately makes an impact on the broader community.” – Danica P,. MAT Program Coordinator at Northern Nevada HOPES.
