Primary Care

""

Primary care includes family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics.

When you’re a patient at Northern Nevada HOPES (HOPES), your regular medical provider helps you decide what you want to achieve for your health. They can also connect you to all the other services at HOPES, like the pharmacy, labs, diet advice, mental health care, case management, and much more.

Care that focuses on you, the patient

At HOPES, we believe in putting our patients first. That means we give care that respects and responds to each patient’s unique wishes and needs. We also make sure our patients’ values are at the heart of all medical choices. HOPES has been doing this special kind of care for more than 25 years. Our doctors, nurses, and staff are dedicated to treating our patients and community with respect and dignity.

WOMEN'S HEALTH

Women’s health, also called gynecologic care, is part of primary care for women and includes the reproductive system (vagina, uterus, and ovaries) and breasts.

HOPES provides routine exams that include pelvic exams, pap smears, and breast exams. We offer family planning services (including birth control). We can treat gynecologic disorders like polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids, as well as sexually transmitted infections. HOPES also cares for women experiencing symptoms during menopause.

Access to all HOPES services

Once you become a patient at HOPES, your medical provider can connect you with many services and programs that can help you manage your health. These services include pharmacy, lab, x-ray, a nutrition program, counseling, case management, and addiction treatment.
