Smart Phone Apps Can Help You Quit Smoking

Looking for support as you try to stop smoking? Both iTunes and Android offer several “Quit Smoking” applications that will help you set a plan to quit, show how much money you’re saving and, most importantly, give feedback on how your health is improved by giving up tobacco.

LIVESTRONG’s physician-approved MyQuit Coach iPhone app helps you set realistic goals and track your cravings. Whether you’re quitting cold turkey or gradually, the app provides motivational tips and a personalized plan for quitting.

Need the support of others as you try to quit? Then Android’s Cessation Nation is the app for you. In addition to telling you how much money you’re saving, their app includes a large network of support through fellow smokers and ex-smokers.
