At HOPES, we follow Harm Reduction, as a philosophy and strategy that empowers individuals to reduce harm to themselves by 1) setting realistic goals and 2) validating any positive step or incremental change. Change Point is home to our Harm Reduction programs which include Syringe Exchange and free Naloxone distribution and training.

Our Medication Assisted Therapy MAT program is a behavioral health focused program that uses medications to support recovery for individuals struggling with alcohol and/or opioid dependence. We practice harm reduction which involves meeting patients where they are and developing a holistic treatment plan based on a patient’s specific goals. Our MAT team is also the designated team for Project ECHO Nevada.

Naloxone Kits are available at always available at Change Point.
They will also be available at Our Center August – September.
