Northern Nevada HOPES is a community health and wellness center serving the Northern Nevada area. Our Hope Springs Program Coordinator will oversee the bridge housing project. Activities will include ensuring the Resident Advisory Board is formed and maintained, managing the Hope Springs Development Project, developing programs and screening processes, from inception to implementation, hiring and managing staff, ensuring the collection of rents, and ensuring operating expenses are paid. This role will also be responsible for collecting data on program metrics, and overseeing the operation of the bridge housing project. Finally, this individual will provide intensive case management for a small caseload to transition residents to permanent housing and will be responsible for program evaluation and strategic planning.

HOPES has an integrated team model approach to patient care. This position focuses on overseeing the daily activities of the program to include oversight of staff involved in intensive case-management services including but not limited to: linkage to medical and behavioral health care, individual service coordination, and referrals to additional programming. They will engage in the project management, and evaluation of project goals, and work closely with the Housing Team and the Housing Coordinator in the Case Management Department.

We’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or formal studies in psychology, social work, public health, health administration, sociology, or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role with significant project management and program development.
  • 1-3 years’ experience housing/case management.
  • Knowledge of homelessness and working with individuals experiencing homelessness or intermittent housing.
  • Bilingual a plus!
  • Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
  • Adaptable, open and curious to frequent process changes.
  • Great communication and people skills; healthy boundaries.
  • Outstanding organizational and stress management skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Excellent de-escalation abilities!
  • Understand impact of public health within the community.
  • Experience appropriately handling sensitive and confidential information and situations.
  • Extensive knowledge of community resources.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
