Take Pride in HOPES
Every June, a powerful wave of generosity sweeps across the country during Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving specifically for LGBTQ+ nonprofits. For organizations like Northern Nevada HOPES, this day is more than a fundraiser — it’s a lifeline.
What Is Give OUT Day?
Give OUT Day, happening this year on Thursday, June 5, 2025, is a nationwide campaign that supports LGBTQ+ nonprofits through collective giving. Since its founding in 2013, it has helped raise millions of dollars for organizations that provide vital services, advocacy, and community support.
Why Support Northern Nevada HOPES?
Northern Nevada HOPES (HOPES) began in 1997 as a small HIV/AIDS clinic. Today, it’s a full-service community health center that serves thousands of people across northern Nevada and the Sierra — especially those who are often overlooked or underserved.
HOPES is known for its welcoming, non-judgmental environment, where patients can access:
- Primary care
- Sexual health care
- Walk-in STI testing
- HIV prevention services
- Behavioral health counseling
- Substance use counseling
- Support groups
Their mission is simple: to help people live healthier, more stable lives — no matter their background, identity, or income level.
Who Benefits?
Your support on Give OUT Day directly benefits LGBTQ+ individuals who are seeking affirming, respectful healthcare. This goes towards behavioral healthcare and primary healthcare.
