2013 Northern Nevada AIDS Walk/Run A Success!

On Saturday, over 250 people came together at Idlewild Park in Reno for the 2013 Northern Nevada AIDS Walk/Run.

Thank you to all the sponsors, runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters who made this year’s event a success!

Your participation helped raise over $25,000, which will directly benefit Reno’s local HIV/AIDS service organizations. These organizations – Northern Nevada HOPESPlanned Parenthood Mar MonteACCEPTNorthern Nevada Outreach Team, and Frontline of Northern Nevada – provide lifesaving prevention, treatment, and care for individuals infected and affected by HIV in our community.

With over 50,000 people still infected with HIV each year in the US, the epidemic is far from over, and your support makes all the difference.

Thank you, and we hope you’ll join us next year at Idlewild Park for the 2014 Northern Nevada AIDS Walk/Run.
