What makes you passionate about the behavioral health field?
I’m passionate about the behavioral health field because I believe that mental and emotional well-being are fundamental to living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I am drawn to the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives! The field constantly evolves, offering new insights and approaches that inspire me to learn and grow alongside those I support. Ultimately, my passion comes from a deep compassion for others and the belief that everyone deserves support, understanding, and the chance to thrive.
Why did you join HOPES?
I chose to join Northern Nevada HOPES because it is a place that holds special meaning for me. Returning to this community feels like coming full circle, as it is where I completed my MSW internship and developed a deep connection to the people and the work. I have a genuine passion for community behavioral health and am committed to serving populations that often face systemic barriers to care. Northern Nevada HOPES embodies the values I hold dear—providing compassionate, accessible, and holistic support—and I am excited to contribute to this mission and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
My favorite hobbies
I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, which allows me to see the world from different perspectives and embrace new experiences. Music is also a passion of mine and I love discovering new artists and listening to a variety of genres.
