Starting January 1, Medicaid requirements in Nevada are changing. Most Medicaid members will need to renew their eligibility twice each year instead of once.
Some individuals may also be required to complete at least 80 hours of work, volunteer service, education, or job training during one month of their renewal period. However, many people are exempt from this requirement, including adults age 65 and older, pregnant individuals, parents or guardians of children under 14, and people with disabilities or certain physical or mental health conditions.
Northern Nevada HOPES is committed to helping patients understand these changes and navigate the renewal process. For the latest information and resources, visit nevadamedicaid.nv.gov or call 775.786.4673 to speak with a HOPES team member for assistance.
