VIDEO: HIV Excuse Busters

Though getting a rapid HIV test at Northern Nevada HOPES is easy, confidential, fast and free our friendly Outreach Staff still hears a lot of excuses why people don’t think they should get tested. So for World AIDS Day 2015, we had our Outreach Excuse Busters dispel some myths around HIV to explain why knowing your status is the best way to protect your health.

For World AIDS Day, HOPES also created an HIV Frequently Asked Questions page to help better inform people about HIV.

You can get a screening at Change Point Monday – Friday from 10am – 4pm. Walk ins are always welcome and no appointment is needed.

Find out more about getting tested for HIV or hepatitis C at Change Point.
