Dr. Steven L. Phillips is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a specialty in Geriatrics who has been practicing medicine since 1987. Throughout a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades, he has remained passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and recognizes that healthcare extends beyond medicine alone.

He joined Northern Nevada HOPES to help create the Geriatrics Center of Excellence, bringing expertise and a deep commitment to supporting older adults in achieving their best possible health and quality of life.

Their approach emphasizes addressing the whole person, understanding that physical, emotional, and social well-being all play an important role in health.

Outside of work, Dr. Phillips lives on an 80+ acre ranch, enjoys playing the guitar, and values spending quality time with family.

Due to the weather, the clinic and pharmacy will be closed today, February 17, 2026. All appointments at the clinic will be canceled. The cancellations include all groups and IOP. Telehealth appointments that were already scheduled will continue as planned. We plan to reopen tomorrow, February 18, 2026.
