Alvaro’s passion for the behavioral health field is driven by a deep curiosity about the human experience. He believes that everyone holds valuable insight into the world, and he values the knowledge and perspectives of others. The behavioral health field gives him the opportunity to explore and understand these experiences.
He chose to join HOPES for multiple reasons: the supportive coworkers, the agency’s mission to improve the community, and most importantly, the people they serve.
Alvaro’s hobbies are ambitious and varied. He is an aspiring DIY’er, aspiring stand-up comedian, and hopes to one day dunk a basketball in the NBA or land a kickflip. He also enjoys working through the stack of half-read books on his shelf, and finds simple enjoyment in ironing.
