HOPES Welcomes Mandi Fleiner as Director of Philanthropy and Communications

(Reno, Nev.) December 4, 2019 – Northern Nevada HOPES today announced Mandi Fleiner will assume the position of Director of Philanthropy and Communications. Fleiner has joined HOPES at a critical time in the organization’s evolution as HOPES continues to expand services to meet the health care and wellness needs of our growing community.

In her role at HOPES, Fleiner will build the Philanthropy & Communications team to best serve our patients, partners, and donors; which will allow HOPES to grow our brand awareness in Nevada and beyond. Fleiner will also be responsible for diversifying HOPES’ funding sources for long-term sustainability.

“I am ecstatic to be back in my hometown of Reno and working for such a well-respected and innovative organization,” said Fleiner.  “The work HOPES does to remove barriers to care is the future of health care and I am honored to play a part in that mission.”

Previously, Fleiner held leadership roles with ACE Scholarships in Denver, Colorado and the American Cancer Society where she oversaw multimillion-dollar portfolios across large regional territories while building presence in the corporate and individual giving spaces.

“Mandi brings over a decade of non-profit development experience to the role and will be instrumental in building relationships and expanding HOPES’ brand and footprint across the state and region,” said Sharon Chamberlain, Chief Executive Officer at Northern Nevada HOPES.
