The Recuperative Care Program

HOPES started the Recuperative Care Program in November 2014 thanks to several generous funders and supporters in the community. The program was designed to help men and women experiencing homelessness recover after emergency medical intervention. To help them recover, HOPES places program participants in renovated motel rooms at a nearby motel and sends community health workers to check on their progress. Community health workers assist patients with medication, medical appointments, and community resources as needed.

Give a gift today, and support someone’s tomorrow.

Northern Nevada HOPES relies on the generosity and financial support of our community to provide affordable, quality healthcare services to those in need. When you donate to HOPES, 95% goes directly to patient services.
