Jovana is passionate about meeting patients where they are and building trusting relationships that support their individual health goals. Her background in HIV care taught her the importance of providing compassionate, nonjudgemental care and recognizing that every patient’s journey is unique. As a bilingual provider, she values being able to communicate with patients in their preferred language and help improve access to quality healthcare.
HOPES has been an important part of her professional journey. She previously worked at HOPES as a bilingual medical assistant, supporting patients receiving HIV care, and she was inspired by the organization’s commitment to serving our community with compassion and dignity.
Returning to HOPES as a PA-C allows her to give back to the community that helped shape her career and continue providing patient-centered care alongside an incredible multidisciplinary team.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and crafting.
