We are looking for a Coordinator for our Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) and Families Talking Together (FTT) Programs.

Our TPP/FTT Coordinator needs to not only be competent in all of these areas but also:

  • Ensure program goals and objectives are achieved within the designated budget
  • Develop processes and procedures to fulfill program goals and objectives
  • Maintain program fidelity
  • Be an expert presenter of programs to a diverse audience
  • Collaborate with other groups to partner in reaching program objectives

The TPP Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) project. The Coordinator reports to a designated supervisor at their respective Community Health Center (CHC). In addition, they have direct accountability to Nevada Primary Care Association TPP Project Manager to implement the teen pregnancy prevention program in accordance with the grant requirements and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The CHC Site Coordinator will oversee the assessment, planning, TPP evidence based clinical and community based model selection, program implementation, communication dissemination, target audience recruitment, internal quality control activities, performance measure and other evaluation data collection and reporting, and other project management tasks to ensure that the TPP is implemented successfully at all clinic sites of the CHC.

We’re looking for:

  • Degree or formal studies in health education, social work, psychology, other human services field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with reproductive health education programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Possess a current Nevada Drivers License, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation

  • Experience appropriately handling sensitive and confidential information and situations.
  • Extensive program development and coordination experience
  • Ability to be self-motivated and maintain a high level of quality
  • Advanced presentation skills
