We are looking for the full package. . .Experienced in carpet cleaning and floor buffing (and use of the equipment), window washing, deep cleaning; and able to work as part of a team and individually.

Our Heavy Duty Cleaning Janitor  is responsible for performing janitorial services for HOPES. Duties include general cleaning/janitorial/custodian responsibilities, deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, operation of floor buffing, windows, clean and maintain patient areas, clean and maintain clinic areas, as well as some light landscape work.

We’re looking for:

• 1-2 years of Heavy Duty Cleaning
• Knowledge of basic maintenance, janitorial and safety and deep cleaning
• Prior experience in running a commercial carpet cleaner and floor buffer
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Ability to lift/move furniture if needed
• Able to maintain awareness of cleanliness, safety and security of environment
• Ability to climb ladders, stand, and walk, for long periods of time
• Ability to multi-task, coordinate according to priorities and be well organized
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually
• Prior health care experience a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to utilize computer
