Funding Priorities

Thank you for your interest in Northern Nevada HOPES.

Our mission is to build a healthier community by providing affordable, high-quality medical, behavioral health, and support services for all.

HOPES offers a team-based, patient-centered approach to healthcare. At HOPES, every patient has access to a dedicated team of physicians, clinical staff, pharmacists, behavioral health providers, and case managers. In additional to medical and behavioral health care, our one-stop-shop model includes integrated services like transportation, medication delivery, financial wellness coaching, legal assistance, housing case management, and so much more.

This is what you can make happen with a gift of $1,000 to $10,000:

  • A grant of $1,000 provides access to primary medical care for 100 low-income individuals.
  • A grant of $2,500 provides prescription co-pay assistance for 100 chronically ill clients who rely on regular medications to improve their health.
  • A grant of $6,000 provides one furnished tiny home in the Hope Springs community that will serve as bridge housing for people experiencing homelessness.
  • A grant of $10,000 provides transportation and medication delivery for over 400 HOPES clients who are homebound or lack access to transportation.

Our current funding priorities are:

Wrap-Around Services
The path to wellness is so much more than medical care, and requires wrap-around services to truly impact the health of an individual and the community as a whole. HOPES wrap around services include case management, transportation, medication delivery, legal assistance, harm reduction outreach, and financial coaching

Increased Access to Behavioral Health Services
In 2018, HOPES renovated existing space to add 13 new behavioral health rooms and 11 additional rooms for medical care, allowing us to hire 17 new providers. With the expansion, HOPES will serve over 18,000 people by 2020.

Hope Springs
A bridge housing project designed to provide temporary shelter and support services for people experiencing homelessness.
