Support Groups

Latino Support Group

Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, 6pm

A supportive environment for Spanish-speaking clients to discuss health care and medication, substance abuse, isolation, disclosure of HIV status, community-building, relationships, life transitions and other relevant issues. Dinner is provided at every session. 

New Beginnings Support Group

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, 5:30-7:30pm

A support group for HIV positive individuals and their affected family members. Topics discussed: disclosure, healthy living, and dealing with depression. This group also plans client related activities throughout the year. 

Rainbow Alliance Support Group

Every Wednesday, 4-5:30pm

The Rainbow Alliance is a fun and informal group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and straight ally youth ages 14-18. It is a safe and supportive place for LGBTQI youth to gather and connect with each other. 

All support groups take place at the HOPES Resource Center (HRC), 580 W. 5th St. Suite 5
