Consumer Advisory Board

Northern Nevada HOPES encourages clients to participate in developing our Consumer Advisory Board (CAB). Involvement of People Living With HIV (PLWH) is one of the most important and challenging issues at Northern Nevada HOPES. The Consumer Advisory Board consists of consumer representatives who communicate issues, concerns, and ideas to the Board of Directors of Northern Nevada HOPES.

The CAB assists in the enhancement, creation, implementation and evaluation of the programs and services that Northern Nevada HOPES offers. An interim CAB has been formed and is still in the process of recruitment, selection and election of its permanent members.

In no other illness is consumer involvement more important than in HIV.

Consumer involvement:

+Addresses patient needs

+Empowers the HIV positive community

+Gets everyone involved

We look forward to having more PLWH represent those infected by HIV in our community. CAB members will serve on a voluntary basis. The Consumer Advisory Board meets every month.
