Accolades

This space is dedicated to those corporations, companies and local businesses along with groups and individuals who have supported the work we do at Northern Nevada HOPES in serving persons living with HIV in our communities.

WELLS FARGO BANK
Northern Nevada HOPES would like to thank Kelly Goodman from the Nevada Community Relations Department of Wells Fargo Bank. On Saturday, September 29, 2007 through her corps of volunteers at Wells Fargo, Kelly sent to us the following individuals to assist us with a variety of fall clean-up chores around our property. They worked tremendously hard and the work was done in no time at all. To Robert Acordagoitia, Joanna Laporte, Sheri Carroll and her children Elijah and Aleksei we greatly appreciate your efforts on behalf of our organization.

CHEER SF
During the Gay Pride Festival in August of this year (2007), CHEER SF graced the parade and the festival once again with their outstanding talents. All of the funding that they painstakingly raised during their stay in Reno was donated to Northern Nevada HOPES. We extend our heartfelt thanks for their efforts that raised $2,500 for our organization. A special kudos to Isaac Burroughs for organizing this annual journey to Reno that makes a lasting impression on our community and to all of the cheerleaders who yelled themselves horse, THANK YOU.

Empress 31, SANDY DEE & The Silver Dollar Court
On behalf of the clients of Northern Nevada HOPES, we would like to thank Empress 31 of the Silver Dollar Court, Sandy Dee, for the creation of the Silver Dollar Court Vision Fund (Coronation 2007) here at HOPES and to all the entertainers who assisted in raising the funds. Since its inception and with the most recent fundraiser ( October 13, 2007), the fund has grown to approximately $1400.00. With this funding we are able to provide eye care to our patients who have no other source of funding for this often time overlooked medical service and to offer them affordable glasses should the need arise. Thank you for your tireless concern and compassion to the HIV+ community and their ever-changing needs.
